Crown Castle International Elects to Redeem 10 3/4% Senior Notes and 9 3/8% Senior Notes Due 2011

HOUSTON, June 16 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Crown Castle International Corp. (NYSE: CCI) announced today that it has elected to redeem its 10 3/4% Senior Notes and 9 3/8% Senior Notes, in each case due August 1, 2011, at the contractual call price of 103.583% and 104.688% of principal, respectively, plus accrued and unpaid interest, if any. The trustee, The Bank of New York, will issue a notice of redemption to holders of record, and Crown Castle expects the redemption to occur on or about August 1, 2006. There are currently approximately $10.0 million of the 10 3/4% Senior Notes and $1.7 million of the 9 3/8% Senior Notes outstanding.
