Crown Castle Names Schueppert Senior VP of Marketing & Business Development

JUNE 14, 2000 - HOUSTON, TEXAS - John Kelly, President and Chief Operating Officer of Crown Castle International Corp. announced that Michael T. Schueppert has been promoted to Senior Vice President of Marketing and Business Development based in the Houston headquarters. Kelly noted that "Mr. Schueppert will play a crucial role in directing Crown Castle’s global marketing strategy to further strengthen our competitive position within the industry."

Mr. Schueppert joined Crown Castle in 1997 as Director of Sales and Marketing for Crown Castle UK and was instrumental in establishing a strong sales and marketing team. He previously worked at Cable & Wireless where he held a number of positions in strategy, marketing and business development in the UK and North America. During his time at Cable & Wireless, Mr. Schueppert was closely involved in the establishment of cellular networks in the UK (One2One) and more than 15 countries overseas. He graduated from Cambridge University and holds an MBA from INSEAD.
