Reese Named Crown Castle EVP for International Development

Houston, TX – December 2, 1999 – Ted B. Miller, Jr., Chairman and CEO of Crown Castle International Corp. (CCIC) announced that George E. Reese has made a transition from his role as CFO of Crown Castle UK Limited and has been named Executive Vice President International Development for CCIC based in Houston. Miller commented that "Crown Castle continues to put an emphasis on our international strategic initiatives and we believe that George, with his extensive international experience, is best suited to help us in this area."

Reese has been the Chief Financial Officer and Secretary of Crown Castle UK Limited (formerly known as Castle Transmission International Ltd.) and each of its wholly owned subsidiaries since February 1997. Previously he served as President of Reese Ventures, Inc., an international consulting firm, which he established in 1995. From 1972 to 1995, Mr. Reese was employed by Ernst & Young, LLP where he was named Partner in charge of the Houston office’s energy department and was appointed managing Partner of the firm’s operation in the former Soviet Union. He was a founder of the council on Foreign Investment in Russia and was a founding member of the American Chamber of commerce in Russia.
